Metallurgical Polishing Machine
This is a simple and convenient machine for rough and fine polishing of metallurgical specimens. The specimen after mounting and after being polished by hand on emery paper is polished finally on this machine. The specimen is held against a rotating flat disc, on which a polishing cloth, impregnated with suitable polishing media such as silicon carbide powder, alumina of diamond powder, is stretched. Disc polishing gives the specimen a scratch free mirror like finish.
The spindle is located on heavy duty ball bearing. The disc is easily removable for quick changing of the polishing cloth or paper, which is fastened on the disc by means of a spring or rubber girdle on the rim of disc. Around the disc. is an aluminum drain jacket fitted with drain tube. A metallic reservoir is also provided for dropping water on the specimen. The machines are made in single. Double and three disc model.

Abrasive Cut-Off Machine
This cut off (Chop Type) ) machine is suitable for quick & clean cutting off metallographic specimens from Rods, Tubes or other irregular shapes
The wheel is covered by wheel guard for protection. The clamps are provide on a cast Iron stage. Located in a steel trough. A screw feed provides forward movement by means of hand wheel.
A motorized pump is fitted on a coolant tank of generous capacity. The coolant is delivered on the cutting surface in jets by means of a twin nozzle which is adjustable while the machine is in operation. It is provided with three stage filtration system incorporated in the machine, which prolongs the use of coolant. The machine is finished in corrosion resistant paint and chrome plating.

Linisher Polishing Belt
Linisher is a continuous belt-sander. When the sample is irregular, its surface needs leveling in order to render it suitable for mounting. This is achieved on linisher belt.
The belt travels on two Aluminum pullies, one of which is directly coupler to motor. The other pulley is fitted on a spindle in a dolley which is spring loaded thus offering quick changing of worm out belts. The design also incorporates axial adjustment to align the belt in proper position.
This belt runs over a working surface plate situated between the two pullies giving a working surface of approximately 4” x 7” area. The sander is totally enclosed in a steel cover for safe operation. The cover can be easily removed for changing the belt.
