• Platen movement is controlled from the front panel,

• A Ball seated screw fitting located on the cross head accepts load cells and load  transducers up to and including 100kN.

• The equipment is a table top loading frame, with adjustable crosshead mounted on columns attached to sturdy base.

• The forces applied are generated by a screw jack via a reduction unit with worm gears housed in the base casting. Motive Power is from an electric motor via a multi-vee drive belt and provides a platen speed of 50.8mm 1 min.

The worm reduction unit is a grease packed on assembly and should not normally require lubrication.

• Suitable for 4” and 6” sample

Attachment:

Direct / Indirect Tensile, sample extractor for both 4 inch and 6 inch sample

Software:

The software includes control of machine, acquisition of load and displacement

data, saving them and generating reports. The software accepts specimen diameter and height as an input parameter. It automatically calculates correction factor coming from the standards with respect to specimen thickness. The stability value is calculated regarding this factor.

The software continuously updates load and displacement until the end of test.

When the test is completed, the sharpest slope of the graph is calculated.
